Milford Loop again

Miford Loop again. It started out a very nice ride into Milford center. Then it hit! The skies opened up and fully drenched us. We pulled under a canopy for the worse part but then we followed it all the way home. Despite the stinging rain, we still made good time on the way back.

Tour de Cure Preview

I received a MS street map file for the 100k route from the director of the North Shore American Diabetes Assoc. Tour de Cure event. I converted it into a gpx file and downloaded it into Google Maps. Unfortunately looking at the route it created something didn’t look correct. it seems that the route has […]

Hayes Woods Groton Conservation Loop

Welcome back folks. The sinus infection is gone and it’s good to back on the mountain bike. The whole gang was present for last night’s Hayes Woods Groton Conservation Loop. It was a really nice night as temps were starting to creep up but yet still in the comfy range for biking. The mosquitoes […]

Crickets

I never received any emails from the gang of Ghost Writers. I guess they must have been tried and not in a writing mood. Sorry about that folks. I’m sure it would have been good.

and the crickets say…

Absent tonight

I have decided not to mountain bike tonight. I need to take it easy for a couple more days to see if I can get rid of this headcold.

Stay tuned for a treat tomorrow though as the review will be provided by a gang of Ghost Writers. I will post their reviews of Lowhell […]

Nice Road Ride

The second weekend road ride was definitely the more harsh of the two. Sunday I got a rude awakening that riding up and down hills on a road bike when you are completely ill is hard. We did 33.36 miles in 2 hours for an average speed of 16.7 mph. At one point I reached […]

Dusting off the Roubaix

When I got to Bigfoot’s house, he pointed out that I still had dust on my bike from the winter storage. He caught me. The Roubaix hasn’t come off the rack in the cellar since last fall (or maybe even late summer). Time to dust it off.

We did an out and back to Milford […]

The Beaver!

Love the Beaver!! As any healthy active man should. The course has some nice riding in it. Here is a map from the Beaver association outlining the trails. Some fast gnarly downhills and some great technical singletrack if you know where to look. A little slippery out there as the Beaver usually is. The mud […]

Today’s Ride

Looking pretty dark out there this morning. I noticed a few sprinkles on the way into work. The forecast calls for:

High: 68°F RealFeel®: 70°F Intervals of clouds and sunshine with a shower in the area with a 50% chance around 4pm.

We will have to wait and see what happens later in […]

Burbank Hospital…the trail.

Uh, Burbank. We haven’t been here in a while. I think TiTim and I rode here early last year or maybe it was 2 seasons ago, late in the year. Been a while in any case. Here’s a review on it. They have some nice, well-maintain sections out there but it is always difficult to […]

Rotten Groton – Ant Hill

Now how do I ride this again??? We rode Groton Town Forest last night. Actually I think that we park and start out out briefly in the Town Forest part. But then quickly move out of the forest into the powerlines.

We head to some railroad tracks that go across a trestle. Believe […]
