Saturday Morning Ride

BF and I went out for a good ride from his house to Pepperell to Dunstable and back. We stretched the loop for a few extra miles. We actually did the Hollis hills in the beginning of the loop whcih made for a rude awakening early on (about 3 miles in).

BF was looking fine. I on the other hand was dragging somewhat. My kids have been sick this week and consequently I haven’t gotten my prerequisite beauty sleep. He actually led for about 35-40% of the ride, which I was grateful for. I lost my concentration frequently and went off the pavement 4 times. None of which killed me due to my superior off-road ability. Oh well, it was good to get out there on the road again.

* We went 36.2 miles in 02:00:55 for an average of 18.0 mph for the ride
* I hit a max speed of 38.9 mph somewhere on a downhill
* I burned 2319 Calories
* Our elevation change for the ride was 2,675 ft / -2,681 ft


No venting after the ride since it wasn’t noon yet and I had to get home to take a nap.
