Add your own bike lanes? Why not!

Check out this interesting concept from Altitude Inc.  It’s a system that you mount on your seat that projects laser lines down to the ground creating an instant bike lane (at night only I presume).  I am not sure if it would really work when cars were coming up behind you.  It seems like the red lane would be washed out in the car’s headlights.  Plus as they state, it’s freaking expensive at this point and they don’t have a sturdy mount system yet.

But I would say, keep working  it boys…these Assachusett drivers don’t take kindly to bikes.  Of course we now have the law on our side!

Excellent work TiTim! You are ahead of me. Having trouble getting the bug this spring…too much chainsawing and clearing ice damage for now. My road bike friends have all gotten out already for some long rides. Guess I’ll be dragging butt. Tour de Cure 2009, Kennebunk, ME, June 7th if interested in joining Slim Cycle this year!
